A couple weeks back, a girlfriend and I were running at the beach before sunset. This is actually one of my most favorite things to do. You get exercise, you’re outside, and it’s sunset. I mean win win win!
As always at this time of day, the birds hold their daily pow-wows on the sand. Hundreds of birds just sit there. On this particular day, I told my friend she needed to run through the birds so I could take a picture. Despite the potential for poop, she was game. And it was a funny picture (you can see it on my Instagram).
After this funny picture, I decided I needed to come back and recreate this scenario with my actual camera, not just my iPhone. I dragged my {pregnant} bestie and her son out so we could run through the birds and make them fly while I took pictures!
So we did it. We yelled “EWAN!! Run!!” And then he ran a teeny bit. And then he got a little more brave and ran a little farther. And eventually we all joined. Shannon and I ran and screamed and jumped alongside him, to make the birds fly into the sky for our pictures. 
And of course, since he is the cutest kid ever, I was like “Hey Ewan, model!” He was like “no.” Ha. And so we have these pictures. And I mean who doens’t love this freaking kid??!!
