From left to right:
COWBOY BOOTS: My friend said she doesn’t really have hobbies, so she’s taking up some. So I joined her for some good, ol fashioned line dancing. YOU GUYS, line dancing is really hard. I’m TERRIBLE. :( I aspire to be better, but let’s be honest, I don’t know if it’s possible. We’re going again this week, and I intend to give it my all. The thing about country dancing, it’s a super happy hobby. I was trippin how everyone there was smiling the whole time. I guess cowboys, or cowboy moves, or country music, or something, brings out some great moments.
LUNCHING OUTDOORS: Look, working from home is quiet. You don’t have co-workers to yap with. You don’t see people during the day on a regular basis. And you’re indoors a lot. So, quite often, I step outside to my local wetlands and go for a jog. I throw some good music in my ears and run against a cool breeze that brushes my face. And it rejuvenates me and makes me smile. If you can, try getting outside to somewhere peaceful in the middle of the day. It will do wonders.
THE FAULT IN OUR STARS: YOU GUYS!!!! This Movie!!! So. Great. So So Great. I read the book a couple months back, and I actually had no idea it was becoming a movie. I was going through a rough patch in my life as I was reading it, so I was already emotional. I dived into this read, based on the suggestion of a good friend. And let me tell you. Good book, bad suggestion to an emotional gal. I was BAWLING! Like bawling ten times more than you were when you read it. Anyways, I was excited to see this movie. And it lived up to every expectation. FANTASTIC. Such a great story, and such lovely young actors. Oh man, LOVELOVELOVED it. Obviously, I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it already!
On that note, have a good one! :)
