You may remember the beautiful story of Stephanie and her son, who was born with Cystic Fibrosis. If you didn’t read that piece, please take a moment to, right here. Shortly after I published this story of hope, Stephanie was contacted by Millers Children’s Hospital.
“This 2-page letter was mailed to 80,000 residents who are donors to the hospital in the Long Beach and South Bay area. There was also a cute picture of Baby Paul on the outside of the envelope.
This opportunity was presented to us after our CF Clinic Social Worker read the blog that Jen CYK Photography wrote about Paul and I. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by the hospital and interviewed, Paul’s doctor was interviewed, and Jen graciously donated the rights to her photos to be used for this mailing.
We hope Paul’s story and sweet face helps entice donors to dip into their wallets and the hospital reaches their $50,000 fundraising goal. God-willing, Miller Children’s Hospital will be the hospital and CF Clinic that will treat Paul until he is 18 years old. We are very grateful for all the doctors have done so far for our sweet little champ!”
